The Evening Pair

The sky surfer sets to set
Ending the tale of the day
Beloved ocean is all inviting
On horizon doors rainbow sway

Evening sky is red with envy
And the clouds are on fire
As the sun drowns in her arms
For a evening by flying choir

The lights dim for the evening
Love permeates the air umpteen
As the celestial adornes the pristine
With a necklace of golden sheen

As her heart misses a beat
Her expanse belittled by her joy
Mushy eyes give into tides high
And veil of waves hides the coy

Smitten she suddenly takes heed
of eavesdropping by giggling stars
Abashed, pull up the waves, but
Billows gives away the lover's wars

Blushing the sun rises from the sea
To take to task the stars naughty
Hither-thither the moon runs to hide
Stars dissolve with the whole party

"Morning" Says the sun lovingly
with his caress of rays infinite
As she begins to wake up, clad,
beautiful, only in necklace's light.

One of my friends once asked me, "Why do I only have painful thoughts to share?" I wondered, smiled, nodded and said, "next I will write a happy prayer."... Here it is.
